Dr. Esses offers both in-person and remote sessions using confidential Telehealth services. She has a diverse training background and is skilled in working with individuals, couples and families. Her specialty training in family therapy gives her a particular expertise and interest in addressing relationship issues both in an individual context (e.g., coping with separation, divorce, dealing with death of a family member, handling a situation where a spouse has had an affair, guidance in how to cope with an ill family member, etc.) and a family systems context (e.g., blending families, parenting issues, communication difficulties, sexual problems, etc.).

Some of the most common presenting problems that Dr. Esses assists individuals with in her practice include: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, post traumatic stress disorder, workplace related stressors, anger management, family life cycle transition issues, addictions and relationship conflict. If Dr. Esses is unable to help you with your particular problem, her long history in the network of Winnipeg-based professionals will allow her to refer you to a more appropriate other person or resource.
